HYDERABAD A player attacked referee during final hockey match in Sindh Games.


HYDERABAD: A player attacked referee during final hockey match in Sindh Games here on Tuesday. 

During final match between Karachi and Hyderabad teams, exchange of hot words was reported between referee Ikhlaq Bukhari and player Wasim. After that the player attacked the referee and thrashed him.

The other players intervened and saved the referee. The match was stopped after the incident.

Meanwhile, players from Hyderabad and their fans stopped ‘Geo Super’ to cover the incident live. They also attacked ‘Geo Super’ team and plugged out the cables.
