Three bodies found, two killed in Karachi


KARACHI: The violence is Karachi has not spared the citizens as three more bodies were recovered from Garden area of the metropolis while two others were gunned down in separate incidents Friday, Geo News reported.


According to police, the bodies were dumped on the back seat of a rickshaw that was parked in Garden area. The bodies were packed in gunny sacks and depicted that all three were murdered few hours ago after being brutally tortured.

The bodies were transferred to the Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities and to ascertain their identities, sources added.

Police told that one of the victims was identified as Naeem Baloch who was the resident of Lyari. Police also suspected that the incident could be a consequence of kidnapping and murder of two men in Ghas Mandi area on Thursday night.

A man was also killed in Gulshan-e-Maymar area when unknown gunmen opened fire while another man was wounded in Korangi area.

A rickshaw driver was also mercilessly shot dead by unidentified masked attackers in Manghopir area. Police reached the site after getting the information but instead of chasing the killers, who had fled on foot, seized the rickshaw and bullet shells from the crime scene and returned.

It can mentioned that an armored vehicle of police was also attacked by the terrorist in the same area.

Despite security forces’ operation in Manghopir area and claims of arresting several accused, violence seems no bound for the past many days and everyday many innocent citizens are losing lives.
