NEW DELHI: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said that he wanted to visit Pakistan but this was not the right time to embark on it.
In a letter, which was delivered to President Asif Ali Zardari by the Indian High Commissioner, the Manmohan said that he had always told Pakistani leaders that he wanted to visit the country, adding that it was not conductive for him to visit Pakistan at the time mentioned by the president in his invitation.
He said that the ties between the two countries should move forward.
It is pertinent to mention here that President Zardari had written a letter to Indian PM inviting him to visit Pakistan.
